Wine descriptions ($5.00/5 oz):
La Linda Torrentes:
The soil of Cafayate valley which is permeable, sandy and with a good balance of nitrogen is ideal for the growing of excellent grape varieties. The 1700 meters above sea level, the climate- very warm days and very cold nights- together with the carefully controlled irrigation, are very positive factors for the growing of this variety. Clear yellow-greenish color. Floral aromas related to rose globeflower and some lavender. The first impression in mouth is sweet with balanced acidity, white peaches are perceived and hints of sugar coated orange skin. Excellent balance between floral and fruity characteristics.
La Linda Malbec:
Distinctive intense deep red color. Cherry and spicy aromas. On the palate, it displays balanced tannins obtained after aging in French oak for three months. It is a velvety, elegant and modern wine with a sound structure.
Terra Andina Carmenere:
Complex flavors of cherry, blackberries and liquorice dominate the nose as this medium bodied red delivers smooth tannins and fresh fruit! Outstanding! Ruby-red. Jammy red and dark berries on the nose, with gentle spiciness building in the glass. Creamy and sweet, with vivid raspberry and blueberry flavors, zero tannins and good snap to the finish.
Terra Andina Cabernet:
Bright and deep ruby in color. Intense aroma with a sweet first touch. Reminds us of black currant and plums mingled with graphite and toasted coffee flavors. On the palate, this wine is structured and concentrated. It has a soft texture with firm and rounded tannins contributing to the smooth finish.
