Our celebration of the Americas during Hispanic Heritage Month continues  October 10 - 12 at Bass Hall, as the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra presents an all-new program continues our journey along the Inca Trail in Maestro Harth-Bedoya's spectacular Caminos del Inka program.

On Saturday night, October 4 at Musicarte, Tito Puente Jr. carries on the sound and legacy of his father, the Latin jazz pioneer remembered as “El Rey,” in a top-billed performance.

Puente Jr. adds a contemporary edge to his father’s music, and his headline appearance at Musicarte is a chance to rediscover the sound that put mambo, salsa and cha cha cha on the nation’s lips and dance floors.

Rock fans will come for Austin-based Grupo Fantasma’s return engagement downtown. Members of the 11-piece combo “effortlessly roll cumbia, Afrobeat, salsa, and funk into a propulsive machine,” according to Texas Monthly, and drew crowds this spring at MAIN ST. Fort Worth Arts Festival.

Fort Worth born and bred, Latin Express has been a North Texas favorite for more than three decades.
