We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for accepting our invitation to show at Musicarte de Fort Worth. We’ll work hard to make sure your stay in Fort Worth is productive and effortless!
ACCEPTING OUR INVITATION – PLEASE FOLLOW THESE STEPS:

Please visit your Zapplication account and ACCEPT our INVITATION, if you have not already done so

Pay for your Booth Fee ($200) by September 23, 2010.

Fill out and sign the Visual Artist's Agreement and send it in by mail, email, or fax. This is due September 23, 2010. We ask that you also send via email an Artist's Statement and a Head Shot (or Studio Shot)
Hotels:
We have two official hotels in the downtown area. They are:
Note a FREE TROLLEY SERVICE provides quick connections from the hotel to the event site just a few blocks away!
Booths, Tents, etc.:
The festival site is located on Main Street in downtown Fort Worth between 3rd Street and 4th Street. “Artist Square” is located in a parking lot on the east side of Main Street in the middle of the festival site (between 3rd and 4th Streets).
Festival staff will assign booth locations based upon the proper mix of artistic genres. You may access our booth layout information and map here.
The festival will supply each artist located on the street a 10’ x 10’ space.
ARTIST MUST PROVIDE HIS OR HER OWN, WHITE STRUCTURE. No other colors will be allowed, expected or accepted. You must also provide your own lights, sidewalls, walls and front flaps to close your booth at night. We have tents for rental. You may pay for the rental of a frame tent in Artist Square. Please contact us directly to arrange for the rental of tents ($200), tables and/or chairs.
There is a stage in the Chisholm Trail parking lot, and another small International Dance Stage in the Flying Saucer Parking Lot. Please note that audio levels are monitored during the day, and kept at no more than 85 db during the day and 100 db after 8:00 PM. Please see our Festival map for a bird's eye view.
Parking:
Parking is available in Sundance Square Surface Parking Lots.
$5 per day PER SPACE (a trailer or a truck over 20' counts as a separate space and will be charged accordingly) on the surface lots until 5:00 PM on Friday, at which time it will convert over to free parking.
Parking is first come, first serve.
Overnight parking is allowed. If you pull into the lot on Wed and will be there for the entire event. They can pay the cashier on site $15 (for Wed, Thurs, Fri) and they will be fine through the close of the event.

State Sales Tax:
Don’t forget to register to pay Texas sales tax – it’s 8.25% in Fort Worth. Complete information is available at www.window.state.tx.us (Form AP-201) or 1-800-252-5555 for the Texas State Comptroller's office.
Artist Awards:
Due to budget considerations, our Artist Awards will total $1,000 this year. These awards will be presented by the close of the day on Friday, October 8. The Jury will be held that afternoon.
